My heart is so full of gratitude as this Thanksgiving Season surrounds us with it's richness and wealth of meaning and memories. God has been so very good to me and my family this year and every year....
He has brought us through sickness with His healing and strength.
He has strengthened us in our Church, drawing us Closer to Him, and feeding us from His Word.
He has given us the most Caring and Loving Minister and Minister's wife, to bless us in too many ways to even count.....
He has given us friends and family to love and to be loved in return.
He has provided for our every need.
He blessed my Dad with a good job after he was without work for over a year.
He let us live in freedom in our beautiful America.
He has given us so much..... there is no way to ever list it all......
And, Most of all, He saw us in our sins and loved us, and died on the Cross to save us... and He led us to Himself, and baptised us in His Name, and filled us with His Holy Spirit......
So now, as Thanksgiving of 2010 approaches, I say: "Thank You Lord.... Words are not enough, but..... I thank You......"
It is my wish that you and yours will have the most wonderful and meaningful of Thanksgivings....... full of love and laughter and memories.... and most of all, of thanks; to the One who does all things well, and Who is the Giver of all good things......
