Before and After

(If you'd like a closer look, click on the photos)

I purchased this yellow and white swag at T.J. Maxx homegoods. I thought I could add something to it and make it really pretty.... So I added vibrant blue Hydrangeas, some other flowers, and also fashioned a bow with Blue-and-White Toile Ribbon, and some yellow sheer ribbon. The finishing touch was a sparkely button, for a bit of "Bling".

Well, I was going to put it on our door for Easter, but my sister has sweet - talked me into letting her have it..... Her home is getting freshly painted (yellow and white) as well as other updates, such as gingerbread trim. So I agree with her. I think this swag will look nice on her door....

  5. Thanks, Jaime and Tara, y'all are so kind! And yes, I'll try to get a pic when she puts it on her door, she's kind of got things torn up right now, with all of the work going on, but I'll get one when everything gets all "prettified"...

    Luv y'all bunches,
    Jenni

  6. Hi Jenni,
Yellow and blue together have become my new love in decorating this year. I have never had much blue but am now incorporating it in my decor. You were so sweet to give it to your sister, You and she seem to be so close.

Hope your grandmother is doing well.
    Hugs,
    Sue

  7. Hey Sue! Yes, I think Yellow and Blue look so "Fresh"! I am currently wild about the French Country look..... roosters and Toile, and thought the Toile ribbon I used was so pretty. Kim and I are very close, she is such a wodnerful sister and I love her so much.....

And you are so sweet to ask about my grandmother; she is doing so well! At home and getting stronger....

    Hugs,
    Jenni
