(This is the current look on my beloved old, shabby piano... not fancy, just homey!)I am working my way through getting all the Christmas decorations taken down. Goodness, it's just not as much fun as putting them up, huh? But it is neat to take down the old to make way for the new..... Got all the decor off the piano, and the front porch and door.... now just need to take down the tree tomorrow. Whew!
I did manage to fill up a whole big shopping bag with shoes, the other day.... gonna give those away.... and sold one of the really nice outfits I bought but never wear.....and bagged up quite a pile of books and magazines... took the bag and set it in the nursery at our Church, with a sign that says : "free books and magazines, Please take some". Several ladies have already nabbed some, and whatever is left after a few more church services, I am thinking of donating to Goodwill.... I thought I'd give my sisters - in - the Lord first dibs, though! I hope they enjoy them.....
So, with the Lord's help, I'm working my way through lots of things right now.... trying to become more organized and decluttered in this New Year! As I said before, "I have TOO MUCH STUFF!"
So how is the new year going for you?? Oh my! I hope you all are having a wonderful, happy, joy - filled week..... if not, just remember, you can always tell the Lord about it, ok? He really Cares, and You can give Him every care and need and disappointment in your life........
Hi Jenni! I just love your piano decor!! Beautiful! It seems that everyone is decluttering now, including me. I just threw away a camera that didn't work anymore and if my hub found out he'd be like.. WHY DID YOU DO THAT? I hope he doesn't ask... You see, he saves everything whether it's working or not. We have like - half a dozen non-working computers hanging around. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, Bobbi! My Dad is the same way...... if we throw something out, he can see all the possibilities.... like "you could do this and this and this. It's too good, don't get rid of it!"

Doing the same thing, organizing, but not done yet. We must start off the new year right. Love your piano, I used to have one just like it. I always wanted to play the piano, mom/dad told me to save my money so I did and bought one just like yours for $50. many years ago. Do not have it anymore, wish I did. Thank you for visiting and yes do talk to my Lord every single day and he listens. Hugs...Lu
